Once again, Claudia will participate in a Big Ink event. Through a grant written by the Toe River Arts, this event includes both professional artists and young students. Each block must by 2’ x 3’. Claudia will be carving a 2’ x 4’ cherry block this year. Wish her luck.

As a member of the Blue Ridge Fine Artist Guild, Claudia will participate in the exhibit, Full Spectrum. Each artist member and several well known potters have chosen a color to focus on with their work. Claudia has chosen Yellow as her color. Beginning in September Mica, a cooperative gallery of fine contemporary craft, located in Bakersville, NC will be open 10-5 Tuesday-Saturday and by appointment on Sunday and Monday. If you would like to make an appointment, call Terry Gess at 828-467-0166.

As a guest artist at Mica in Bakersville, Kathryn’s work will be showcased until October 20 allowing plenty of time for holiday shopping.
